Review-
The Dark King, Book Two of the Fae Series, by sisters, C.J. Abedi, is even better than Fae, if that's possible. The writing duo have polished their writing and made the plot even more exhilarating. The sparks between star-crossed lovers, Caroline and Devilyn, burn even brighter in this book making for a story that readers will fall in love with just like I did. And the ending, oh what a cliffhanger!! The really enjoyable part of this book, to me, is the blend of ordinary life---going to school, working at the restaurant, doing homework, having teen meltdowns--and the terrifying world of dark and light, good and bad faeries and gods. It acknowledges to the reader the very real possibility of something special and fascinating happening to us in our boring lives. Like meeting the boy/man of our dreams and finding out that he is secretly a Dark King. Scrumptious book!!!
